Summer Study Abroad Programs: Welcome!

Welcome!

We are here as your free resource to summer study programs abroad in the year 2007 and beyond. We have created two resources for you, one is this site which focuses on summer study programs abroad, and, our sister site which focuses on America and Canada programs.

Our site is always growing. Everyday we are adding from 400-1000 words or more comprised of helpful hints, tips, stories, reviews, and links to top programs that you might want to consider for sports; science; math; physics; languages; and many other study topics.

Please remember that we are a resource. We will present information for you on these programs abroad but, you must do a LOT of research into them further before you decide on one. Primary in importance would be safety. You're hoping to travel to a different country where you will not be familiar with many things that you WERE familiar with before leaving. You need to have your DUCKS IN A ROW. You're ducks need to help you... haha. Seriously, you need to have as much as you can "known" about the school or program you'll be attending because there will be plenty of unknowns no matter HOW HARD you try to fill in the blanks.

Google searches on the program name and "resume" or "cv" or "attended" will bring up people online that you might be able to communicate with and ask their recommendation about a program you're considering. Use every resource possible to find out if the program is reputable. Go WITH some people if at all possible, there is strength and safety in numbers.

Please check travel alerts from the embassies also. Conditions change in some countries on a daily basis and you're probably best NOT to choose a country that is in flux.

:P Ok, please have a look around... do some Google searches and print out some of this helpful information. We are ramping up - trying to get it all online -and it will take months. Hopefully by March or so we'll be better able to serve you the way we want!
